Job Description
Role Mission: The mission of the Senior Systems Analyst is to support the design of scalable and effective systems that meet business needs and technical requirements. The role focuses on translating business requirements into clear solution specifications, supporting end-to-end solution design, and ensuring proposed solutions are feasible, well-integrated, and aligned to business objectives. The role also contributes to business growth and stronger solution outcomes through sound analysis, collaboration, and delivery discipline.
Accountabilities:
- Support the delivery of fit-for-purpose end-to-end solution designs aligned to business and technical objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear solution specifications and design inputs.
- Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and integrated across relevant systems and platforms.
- Provide technical and functional advice to stakeholders on solution options, design impacts, and implementation considerations.
- Contribute to partner engagements, new business initiatives, and RFP/RFT submissions as needed.
- Apply digital and customer-centric thinking, including user journey analysis and human-centric design principles, in solution assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the end-to-end solution design process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Liaise with business users and stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective system designs.
- Support analysis of solution feasibility, application design, integration points, and downstream impacts.
- Understand business models and drivers and translate them into platform configuration or specifications for enhancements or new implementations.
- Work with partners and internal stakeholders to support technical strategies that improve business effectiveness and service offerings.
- Assist with RFP/RFT responses by providing technical input and solution analysis.
- Prepare and maintain required solution design artifacts such as IA documents, sequence diagrams, process flows, and workflows.
- Follow agreed processes, milestones, and documentation standards established by the team.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computing, or related field of study with at least 5–7 years of systems analysis, solution design, or related experience.
- Strong background in the telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge in areas of mobile and broadband networks, CRM (e.g. Compax), Billing, Provisioning Systems, Inventory, Delivery, and Integrations.
- Experience in digital-related areas, including user journey analysis during solution assessment, design thinking, and human-centric approaches to solution assessment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organization skills and comfort with multi-tasking under a dynamic environment.
- Able to work independently on assigned solution components while escalating issues appropriately.
