Job Description & Summary
We are seeking an experienced insurance professional with project management experience to join our Consulting team. The role offers a chance to contribute to and support a variety of client engagements delivering complex business, regulatory and operational transformation programmes within the insurance sector.
You will play a key role in supporting client engagements across a range of strategic initiatives.
Working alongside senior client stakeholders, you will help insurers navigate regulatory change, improve operational effectiveness, strengthen governance and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project & Programme Delivery
- Lead and manage complex insurance transformation programmes from initiation through to implementation and post-go-live support.
- Develop project plans, governance structures, RAID logs, workstream plans and reporting packs.
- Ensure programmes are delivered to agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and critical decision points.
- Facilitate steering committees, programme boards and executive stakeholder forums.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, operations, risk, finance, technology and third-party providers.
- Develop a strong understanding of insurance operating models, policy administration, underwriting, claims, customer operations and support functions.
- Assess current state operations and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement target operating models and process transformation initiatives.
- Support clients in delivering strategic change programmes that improve customer outcomes and business performance.
- Support insurers in responding to evolving regulatory requirements and industry developments.
- Deliver programmes related to:
- Solvency II
- Consumer Protection Code (CPC)
- Operational Resilience and DORA
- Risk Management Frameworks
- Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical implementation plans and business solutions.
- Acting as a key liaison between multi-faceted project teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Leading workshops to define project scopes and business requirements, ensuring outcomes are documented and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Engaging stakeholders across various disciplines to drive project momentum and success.
- Leading and driving Business Development initiatives including the preparation of proposals and tenders for new client opportunities.

Essential
- 6+ years' experience within insurance, consulting or financial services transformation.
- Experience managing projects or workstreams within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland Regulatory Landscape
- Strong understanding of insurance operations including one or more of:• Underwriting
- Claims
- Customer Operations
- Risk Management
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, governance and stakeholder management.
- Experience delivering business change and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Consulting experience gained within a professional services environment.
- Experience supporting regulatory change programmes.
- Knowledge of insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Salesforce, Duck Creek or equivalent.
