What you'll be doing:
Join Avon as a Finance Analyst and play a key role in supporting financial reporting and accounting activities across our UK entities. Working in a collaborative international environment, you'll partner with teams across Finance and the wider business to deliver accurate reporting, strengthen financial controls, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that help drive business success.
As a Finance Analyst, you'll support monthly accounting and reporting activities for Avon’s UK entities, ensuring financial information is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. You'll work closely with finance stakeholders across multiple markets, helping to reconcile key financial transactions and provide valuable insights that support business decision-making. You'll build strong partnerships with teams including Financial Planning & Analysis, Supply Chain, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Reporting, while contributing to robust financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting monthly accounting and reporting processes for UK entities
- Reviewing and reconciling intercompany transactions, royalties, dividends, accruals, prepayments, and foreign exchange movements
- Partnering with finance teams and business stakeholders across international markets
- Collaborating with local and global reporting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintaining compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Providing financial analysis and support to help drive informed business decisions
What we're looking for
- A degree or master's qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide recommendations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across global teams
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP would be advantageous
