Job Description Summary:

THE OPPORTUNITY The HC Data Analyst is a hybrid role that blends Human Capital data analytics with hands-on HC operations and data entry. Reporting to the COO, Human Capital, this position is responsible for maintaining data integrity in the firm’s HCMS (Workday), providing data support for deliverables to HC leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, and supporting day-to-day operational processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, close attention to detail, and a passion for using data and AI to improve processes and support informed decision-making.

Job Description:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Data Entry & HCMS Administration

  • Execute accurate and timely data entry in Workday, including onboarding new hires, processing departures, salary changes, promotions, one-time payments, transfers, and organizational changes
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity; research and resolve errors and discrepancies
  • Maintain detailed procedures and documentation on HCMS transactions for training and reference purposes
  • Develop a solid understanding of system architecture and associated data flows across all HC systems

HC Operations Support

  • Support the I-9, E-Verify and Visa process; perform audits to ensure compliance with documentation requirements
  • Assist with payroll validation and reconciliations as needed
  • Manage the HC inbox on a daily basis, Field employee questions on basic HC policies and programs
  • Participate in departmental special projects, audits, and initiatives as assigned
  • Identify areas of opportunity within HC business processes; Assist with creating and updating HC policies, guidelines, QRGs, and procedural documentation

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Complete ad-hoc reporting requests and data analysis across the HC function
  • Support the creation of presentation materials, utilizing AI, summarizing key workforce metrics and trends
  • Employ a solid understanding of firm structure and HC business processes to integrate data from diverse parts of the business

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Capital operations, HCMS administration, HC analytics, or a related field
  • Familiarly with and demonstrated interest in integrating AI tools into day-to-day business processes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis; experience may be academic or on-the-job
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization) and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCMS or comparable HCIS platform
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications is a plus
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters at all times
  • Professional services experience a plus

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
