Candidates must possess expertise in FireMon and familiarity with major firewall makes and models. The role requires the ability to handle administrative tasks, manage accounts, and provide support outside of standard office hours.

Full description

The engineer should possess expertise in FireMon as well as familiarity with all major firewalls make and models.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with firewall onboarding into FireMon, including working with branch offices to onboard their firewalls.
  • Managing accounts within FireMon, including onboarding accounts onto CyberArk.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as creating and updating procedure manuals, submitting CHG tickets, and follow through with the CHG process.
  • Troubleshooting FireMon and firewall issues.
  • Supporting the planning and timeline management of the FireMon project.
  • Conducting regular FireMon health checks and maintenance.
  • Applying patches and updates to FireMon as required.
  • Generating firewall-related reports.
  • Handling adhoc FireMon-related tasks, such as urgent troubleshooting, configuration adjustments, and planned / unplanned support requests.
  • Providing support after office hours or on weekends when required.
  • This is 12 months renewable contract as we plan to expand the scope to include onboarding APAC firewalls into FireMon, leveraging FireMon for firewall change monitoring, integrating FireMon with ServiceNow, and consolidating all firewall change requests through FireMon rather than individual firewalls. The engineer is expected to assist with these future initiatives as well.
