Job Introduction:

Leads security engineering efforts for critical systems and services, providing technical direction and hands-on expertise in securing Tekion’s platforms. Partners with cross-functional teams to drive security architecture, threat detection, and proactive risk mitigation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Designs and implements advanced security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks.
Leads threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for high-impact systems and services.
Develops detection mechanisms, incident response playbooks, and remediation strategies.
Drives automation of security operations, including monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability management.
Collaborates with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into development pipelines and platform architecture.
Mentors junior security engineers and supports technical growth across the security team.

Basic Qualifications:

5–7 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure protection
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Deep experience with AWS/GCP/Azure security services and infrastructure hardening
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform)
Proficiency with security tools (e.g., SIEMs, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, WAFs)
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
