The Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Athens, Greece engineering team and support the development, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable, and reliable software systems. This role will manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, improve system performance, and ensure development and production environments remain stable and efficient.

The DevOps Engineer will work closely with software engineers, product, operations, and NYC leadership to improve infrastructure, streamline releases, resolve production issues, and establish effective monitoring, security, and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and maintenance using infrastructure-as-code tools.

Manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms.

Monitor system availability, performance, security, and resource utilization.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, networking, and deployment issues across development and production environments.

Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster-recovery processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong experience managing cloud infrastructure, automating software delivery, and supporting reliable production systems. Specifically:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a related software engineering role.

Strong experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application environments.

Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, security, databases, and production troubleshooting.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
