About the role

The Site Reliability Engineer will own the infrastructure end-to-end, including managing both cloud and on-premise environments. They are responsible for architecting migrations to air-gapped systems and automating CI/CD, IaC, and deployment workflows.

Dirac, Inc.: BuildOS, the AI Process Design Platform (AI + CAD) for aerospace, defense and manufacturing. 30 people, $11M raised, Empire State Building NYC.

Comp: $120K-$200K + competitive equity. Location: on-site 5 days, Midtown NYC. Visa: Not open to visas (US citizen / Green Card).

Responsibilities

  • Own infrastructure end to end as the sole SRE (cloud + on-prem)
  • Architect migration from AWS to on-prem and air-gapped environments for defense/federal customers
  • Deploy and support customer-specific cloud environments (multi-tenant)
  • Build observability and monitoring
  • Automate CI/CD, IaC and deployment workflows
