What We're Looking For
- Strong QA fundamentals, with experience validating web applications and identifying functional and technical issues
- Strong SQL and T-SQL skills, with the ability to write and interpret queries for data validation and troubleshooting
- Basic hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright and TypeScript, including writing and maintaining E2E test specs
- Understanding of modern web application concepts and Next.js, with the ability to follow application flows and investigate frontend issues
- Experience using Datadog to analyze logs and Real User Monitoring (RUM) data for production issue investigation
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for ticket management, QA documentation, estimates, and test notes
- Ability to investigate issues independently, understand dependencies, review historical context, and make informed QA decisions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Clear and proactive communication, with the ability to surface findings, blockers, risks, and questions without requiring follow-up
- Strong autonomy and judgment, with the ability to operate within established QA processes
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working closely with developers, Product Owners, and multiple product stakeholders
Ensure product quality through hands-on functional testing, data validation, production troubleshooting, and lightweight test automation. Work autonomously within a fast-moving product team, collaborating closely with Engineering and Product to investigate issues and keep delivery moving.
