Main Purpose of the Role

Provide analytical and execution support to the Investment Banking team primarily across M& transactions. Assist in financial modelling, research, and preparation of client deliverables while developing technical and market expertise to support origination and execution efforts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and support valuation analysis (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
  • Conduct industry, company, and market research to support live transactions and new business pitches.
  • Prepare sections of pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations under senior guidance.
  • Assist in due diligence processes by coordinating data requests, reviewing information, and preparing summaries.
  • Monitor financial markets, client performance, and sector trends to generate insights for internal use.
  • Support Associates and Senior Associates in transaction execution, including project management and documentation.
  • Help prepare materials for internal committees and client presentations.
  • Maintain databases of transactions, client activity, and market comparables.
  • Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow into more advanced execution and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or Actuarial Sciences. Other degrees may be considered if the candidate has passed Level 1 of the CFA exam
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related internships.
  • Familiarity with financial statements, valuation methods, and capital markets concepts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and exposure to Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or FactSet.
  • Strong interest in MENA and frontier market transactions is an advantage.
