Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own the analytics needs of our Product teams, as well as contribute to broader strategic company goals. This role will be a key member of our team, addressing high-priority data needs and driving action-oriented insights.

We are looking for a passionate and analytically driven individual who is comfortable interacting with and manipulating data to inform the Product teams’ decisions. This will naturally be a cross-functional role that will interact with many areas of the business. You will design and implement experiments, measure impact of major product launches, and ultimately communicate your insights to the broader Product organization and other leaders to influence strategic direction.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
  • Perform analysis on complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for both the product team and executive leadership.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to provide valuable contributions to the company's strategic initiatives.
  • Product Analytics:
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to analyze user behavior, product performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide insights to enhance user experience, optimize product features, and drive product strategy.
  • Develop and maintain product-related dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Strategic Contribution:
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for data-driven insights that enhance the company's long-term strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide data-driven perspectives.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Foster collaboration and best practices among distributed Analytics team members.
  • Actively contribute to a positive team culture, sharing knowledge and insights to elevate the overall capabilities of the team.
  • Liaison with Business Units:
  • Serve as a liaison between the Strategy & Analytics team and other business units.
  • Understand the data needs and requirements of different departments and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate the integration of analytics into decision-making processes across various business functions.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, with a track record of delivering high-impact analytical work
  • Background in product, strategy, or growth analytics preferred; fintech or high-growth startup experience is a plus
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong SQL; comfort building and maintaining data models, dashboards, and analytical frameworks
  • Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, and causal inference methodologies
  • Effective use of AI tools for reliable and efficient data analysis; eagerness to raise the AI bar for the team
  • Communication and Organization:
  • Able to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical peers and executive audiences
  • Demonstrated project management abilities handling multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment
