We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support our financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analytics functions. This role is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow their career in finance while contributing to data-driven decision-making across the business.

The Junior Financial Analyst will work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to help prepare reporting, maintain dashboards and KPI tracking tools, validate data, and support operational performance improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
  • Support budget preparation, forecasting updates, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare recurring financial and operational reports for leadership review.
  • Maintain and update financial models, reporting templates, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
  • Compile, organize, and validate financial and operational data from multiple systems.
  • Assist with departmental spending reviews and budget tracking.
  • Support the preparation of C-Suite and Advisory Board reporting packages.
  • Perform trend analyses and identify notable variances or reporting inconsistencies.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of employee productivity and operational performance reporting.
  • Partner with Accounting, Operations, Human Resources, and Business Intelligence teams to support reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on reporting automation, efficiency, and data integrity.
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses, special projects, and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, analytics, or a related business function preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and analyze financial and operational data effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and develop financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Exposure to NetSuite, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant internship or analytical work experience is highly valued.
