Job Description:
Job Description: We are looking for a Specialist Business Analyst - Manufacturing Engineering to join our Airbus GBS in Lisbon or Coimbra! As a fully proficient professional, you will complete complex tasks with limited supervision, leading project components, and acting as an informal resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues within the team.
Responsibilities - your mission:
- Dashboard Management & Operations: Autonomously manage and update KPI dashboards for Manufacturing Engineering, evaluating intermediate delivery plans, and establishing a strong liaison with Finance data and actors.
- Subcontracting Coordination: Own the subcontracting management process from PO tracking to goods receipt, proactively anticipating and alerting stakeholders to risks related to late deliveries. Coordinate and drive PRM (Supplier Performance Review) milestones alongside SCMs in core countries.
- Workforce & Workload Management: Lead the maintenance and update of workforce dashboards across multiple domains and programmes, ensuring accurate categorization across internal, external, and extended-make resource types in close alignment with concerned stakeholders.
- R&O Identification: Actively identify complex business risks and opportunities beyond formal data status, structuring concrete insights to present to internal customers.
- Collaborative Alignment: Support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature, acting as a trusted operational interface with remote international stakeholders.
- Local Team Mandate: Take an active and driving role in local initiatives to develop the mission and purpose of the Local Team (Airbus Portugal). Contribute significantly to the centralization of business management activities, lead efforts to standardize processes across all internal customers, and champion the optimization of ways of working by actively applying lean management and Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
- Background: Educational background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a demonstrated equivalent track record in business analysis, data management, or operational tracking.
- Experience: Full professional proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable work experience in business analysis, data management, or financial control.
- Autonomy: Completes work with a limited degree of supervision; proven capability to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of Google Workspace (including scripting/App Script automation) and Microsoft Excel.
- Languages: Fluent English is a must. French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
