Mobile Application Developer – .NET MAUI / iOS / Android Work Authorization: US Citizen Location: Remote

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer with expertise in .NET MAUI, C#, iOS, Android, SQLite, and offline data synchronization. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain secure, cross-platform mobile applications that support enterprise business operations, including applications used in environments with limited or intermittent network connectivity. The position requires strong mobile development expertise, integration with Azure-hosted APIs, and experience delivering reliable, high-performance mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C#.
• Develop mobile applications supporting iOS and Android devices.
• Implement offline-first functionality using SQLite and local data storage.
• Design and implement reliable synchronization mechanisms between mobile devices and cloud-hosted backend systems.
• Handle synchronization conflicts, interrupted connectivity, data validation, error recovery, and secure data transmission.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, API gateways, and Microsoft Azure-hosted services.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and mobile data protection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, device compatibility testing, and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot mobile application defects, performance issues, and synchronization failures.
• Support mobile application builds, deployment processes, version management, and production releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical reviews, and application demonstrations.
• Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, user guides, and release documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C#.
• Experience building and deploying applications for both iOS and Android.
• Experience using SQLite for local storage and offline application functionality.
• Strong understanding of offline synchronization, conflict resolution, and data consistency.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-hosted backend applications.
• Understanding of secure mobile development practices and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and mobile testing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, including significant mobile application development.
• Experience with enterprise-scale offline-first mobile applications.
• Experience with Azure App Services, API Management, and Azure SQL.
• Experience migrating Xamarin applications to .NET MAUI.
• Familiarity with mobile accessibility and Section 508 requirements.
• Experience supporting field-based mobile applications and remote data collection workflows.
• Experience working on Federal Government or regulated enterprise projects.
• Familiarity with mobile application security, encryption, and device management.
