We are seeking an experienced and driven Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial property restoration projects from start to finish. In this role, you will lead the rebuilding phase following fire, water, storm, or mold damage. You will serve as the central hub of communication between homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors to ensure every job is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Manage multiple residential and commercial reconstruction projects simultaneously from initial contract award through final walk-through. 

• Subcontractor Management: Source, schedule, and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and in-house field crews.

• Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, control material costs, track profitability, and approve subcontractor invoices. 

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for property owners and insurance adjusters, providing consistent updates and managing expectations.

• Change Orders & Supplements: Collaborate with the estimating team to identify project scope changes, document variances, and process supplemental insurance claims. 

• Quality & Compliance: Perform regular on-site quality control inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company guidelines. 

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience specifically within the insurance restoration or disaster reconstruction industry.
  • Proficient with industry-standard estimating and management tools (e.g., Xactimate, DASH, or Restoration Manager).
  • Deep understanding of residential/commercial construction methods, framing, drywall, finishes, and building codes.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, AMRT) and OSHA safety certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Superior leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills capable of managing stressful client situations with empathy.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check
