We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Communication Designer to join a leading design-led architecture practice in South Delhi. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, visual storytelling, communication design, and brand consistency.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of architecture or spatial design and a strong interest in translating architectural ideas, projects, and processes into compelling visual communication for clients, students, media, design juries, institutions, and collaborators.
Key Responsibilities• Create visual communication assets for presentations, websites, social media, print, events, and digital platforms.
- Develop compelling project presentations, pitch decks, award submissions, and design narratives.
- Translate architectural concepts and design intent into clear and engaging visual formats.
- Work closely with architects, principals, and design teams to understand project objectives and storytelling requirements.
- Develop layouts using strong grid systems, typography, hierarchy, composition, and image treatment.
- Work with architectural plans, sections, drawings, diagrams, renders, photographs, and project documentation.
- Prepare communication material for talks, academic presentations, project launches, exhibitions, and media features.
- Support the development of project stories and visual content for architectural publications and digital platforms.
- Maintain consistency across the studio's presentations, marketing materials, and other communication assets.
- Edit and refine visual content based on feedback from senior design leaders.
- Ensure all communication material meets high standards of visual quality, accuracy, consistency, and presentation.
What Makes You a Great Fit• 1–3 years of experience in communication design, graphic design, architecture, spatial design, or a related creative field.
- A B.Arch or background in Architecture, Spatial Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, design processes, spatial concepts, and project development.
- Excellent visual sense with strong skills in layout, typography, composition, hierarchy, and image editing.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural ideas through clear and compelling visual storytelling.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Comfortable working with both visual and written content.
- Strong presentation-design skills and attention to detail.
- Patient and methodical approach to refining layouts and communication material.
- Ability to interpret feedback and collaborate effectively with senior architects and design leaders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Curiosity about architecture, design communication, visual storytelling, and the built environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Good to Have:
- Strong writing or editing skills.
- Interest in architectural journalism and design publications.
- Experience preparing architecture or design award submissions.
- Experience creating social media content.
- Videography or video-editing skills.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics.
- Familiarity with architectural publications, design media, and industry communication platforms.
