This role provides the opportunity to lead high-impact transformation initiatives across OMS migration, custodian transitions, market changes, and strategic business programs. By ensuring successful delivery of complex projects and driving alignment across business, operations, technology, and external partners, the role directly supports our mission of delivering scalable, compliant, and client-focused investment capabilities. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to regional and global stakeholders, deepen their asset management expertise, and play a meaningful role in shaping the organization's future operating model.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end large scale Aladdin onboarding and transformation initiatives, ensuring it is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and key milestones.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and governance forums with internal teams and vendor.
- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Provide executive level reporting, regular project updates to management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the gathering of the business requirements related to middle offices, back offices, performance, analytics and attribution, processes, reporting, control and governance.
- Assess the impact of the Order Management System change on existing processes, systems, and operational workflows.
- Oversee the validation of new business processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational best practices.
- Oversee the development and execution of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) plans with proper documentation, ensuring smooth operational readiness.
- Work with middle office workstreams for the OMS migration from Bloomberg AIM to Aladdin, covering trade lifecycle, order and trade flow, portfolio/position data, cash, corporate actions, investment compliance impacts, exception management and downstream reporting requirements.
- Partner with back office, fund accounting and custody operations to define target-state processes for trade settlement, reconciliations, ABOR/fund accounting data flows, NAV inputs, custody/SSI changes and operational controls.
- Translate middle office and back-office requirements into project deliverables, including current-state/future-state process maps, gap analysis, control impacts, UAT scenarios, migration readiness checklists, cutover plans and post-go-live support.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Technology, etc) and vendors.
- Ensure all regulatory and contractual requirements are met as part of the transition.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs, service standards, and operational requirements are met.
Data Migration Management:
- Work closely with IT teams and vendors to support system changes, integrations, and data migration activities.
- Lead data migration process and partner with IT to ensure the accuracy and completeness as well as work with Business Analysts and vendors to conduct data reconciliation to verify successful data transfers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field,
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager within asset management, investment management, securities services and financial service industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment operations, middle office and back office
- Experience in managing large-scale order management system change, operational transitions and target operating model design.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process mapping and change management.
- Familiarity with order management system, like Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM or Charles River and knowledge of data migration methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering, UAT, and post-migration support.
- Fluent in English, and Cantonese preferred (not essential) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Project Management skills, ideally with experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
