We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Go (Golang) to build and evolve high-performance, secure, and scalable backend solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the development of mission-critical banking core systems using modern technologies and AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play an important role in designing robust APIs, developing microservices, and implementing efficient event-driven architectures. Working in a collaborative and technically driven environment, you will help strengthen engineering standards and improve software delivery practices. You will also contribute to DevOps initiatives, automation, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Go (Golang), with a strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

• Build, implement, and document robust RESTful APIs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best development practices.

• Contribute to the design and evolution of microservices architectures, identifying opportunities for technical improvements and innovation.

• Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services, ensuring efficient infrastructure utilization and application performance.

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, promoting end-to-end automation across testing, integration, and deployment processes.

• Work with Docker containers and orchestration technologies to support reliable application deployment and scalability.

• Establish and maintain comprehensive automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

• Monitor application health and performance through observability practices, using logs, metrics, and distributed tracing to identify and resolve issues.

• Participate in architectural discussions, technical decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead and contribute to code reviews, promote coding standards, and mentor other developers to strengthen technical excellence across the team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in backend software development using Go (Golang).

• Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly EKS, Fargate, relational databases, DynamoDB, queues, topics, and API Gateway.

• Solid experience with Docker containers and container orchestration technologies.

• Proven ability to design, develop, integrate, and consume secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

• Practical experience designing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.

• Familiarity with cloud observability concepts and tools, including application logs, performance metrics, and distributed tracing.

• Strong understanding of backend architecture, microservices, scalability, and software engineering best practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to technical challenges.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to technical discussions and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience developing or supporting financial systems, payment solutions, or core banking platforms.

• Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, AWS SQS, and SNS.

• Advanced understanding of API security practices, including OAuth2, rate limiting, and advanced request validation.

• Experience implementing and maintaining highly available, resilient, and fault-tolerant AWS environments.

• Participation in technical communities or contributions to open-source projects related to Go, AWS, or associated technologies.
