Your Role
As a DevOps Tech Lead with Capgemini, you will lead build, test, packaging, promotion and release automation for a strategic Control Plane. You will establish secure and traceable CI/CD and GitOps practices across multiple environments while enabling engineering teams to deliver consistently and efficiently.
In this role you will:
- Design the enterprise CI/CD architecture and create reusable pipeline templates using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or equivalent technologies.
- Establish standards for repositories, branching, merge requests, tagging, release versioning, and artifact management.
- Automate the build, test and packaging of Java/Spring, React and Docker/OCI workloads.
- Implement quality and security gates covering automated tests, SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning and SBOM evidence.
- Define Helm, Terraform and Kubernetes manifest practices and establish an Argo CD/GitOps promotion model.
- Govern configuration, secrets, approvals and Segregation of Duties across five delivery environments.
- Design rollback, reconciliation, drift-detection, release-traceability and deployment-troubleshooting practices.
- Define DevOps performance metrics and continuously improve delivery reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with Release, QA, Infrastructure, Security and Operations stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD and delivery automation.
- Advanced knowledge of GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or comparable pipeline technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker/OCI delivery practices.
- Strong knowledge of GitOps and Argo CD concepts, including desired state, promotion, synchronization, reconciliation and drift detection.
- Experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Good knowledge of artifact repositories, dependency management, configuration, and secret-management practices.
- Experience implementing SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, SBOM and software supply chain controls.
- Experience operating multi-environment delivery models with formal approvals, auditability and Segregation of Duties.
- Familiarity with Java/Spring and React build ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Experience in payments, financial services, or another highly regulated environment is considered a strong asset.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder-management, and mentoring skills in international Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
