This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager, Data Center Construction based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to manage critical data center and infrastructure construction projects from early design through final turnover. You will serve as a key point of coordination across architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The position combines hands-on project management with schedule, budget, risk, and documentation oversight. You will help keep complex projects aligned with scope, timelines, and quality expectations. Working across multiple concurrent initiatives, you will bring structure, accountability, and clear communication to fast-moving environments. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and mission-critical infrastructure.

Accountabilities

  • Manage assigned facilities and data center construction projects across design coordination, preconstruction, execution, closeout, and turnover.
  • Serve as a day-to-day coordination point for architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews, preconstruction meetings, contractor coordination meetings, owner meetings, and site visits.
  • Track project decisions, action items, risks, dependencies, milestones, and critical-path activities to keep projects progressing.
  • Support ROM budget development, cost and estimate reviews, change-order evaluation, forecasting, and ongoing budget tracking.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues appropriately when they could affect delivery.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting documentation, punch lists, closeout materials, and turnover requirements.
  • Partner with project coordination resources to maintain accurate project files, reporting, and documentation.
  • Provide project coverage and operational support when senior leadership is unavailable, ensuring continuity across active initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction, facilities, infrastructure, mission-critical environments, or data center projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects involving contractors, vendors, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of the full construction lifecycle, including design coordination, preconstruction, execution, budget management, closeout, and turnover.
  • Experience working with project budgets, ROM estimates, schedules, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities independently and escalate risks effectively.
  • Preferred experience supporting data center, critical infrastructure, telecom, electrical, or mechanical construction projects, particularly projects valued at $20 million or more.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
  • PMP, CCM, LEED, or another construction-related certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
