SERVPRO Team Toft
Are you an experienced restoration professional ready to take the lead on complex reconstruction projects?
SERVPRO Team Toft is looking for a Senior Reconstruction Project Manager with a proven track record in restoration, construction, project management, and team leadership. This is a senior-level position for someone who can step into a project, take ownership, identify problems before they become issues, and confidently lead projects from initial scope through completion.
The ideal candidate has significant experience working with insurance claims, estimating, subcontractors, customers, and field teams and understands what it takes to deliver high-quality reconstruction projects while protecting the company's profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reconstruction projects from initial scope through final completion and closeout.
- Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, profitability, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct detailed jobsite inspections and walk-throughs to identify project requirements, risks, and potential complications.
- Review scopes of work, estimates, change orders, and insurance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, field employees, and other project resources.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure projects remain on time and within budget.
- Communicate regularly with customers, insurance adjusters, property owners, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear direction to project teams.
- Identify project risks and develop solutions before they negatively affect schedule, budget, or customer satisfaction.
- Monitor job costs, production, labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses to maintain project profitability.
- Review completed work for quality, scope compliance, and customer expectations.
- Manage change orders and additional work while ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Assist with mentoring and developing Project Managers and other team members.
- Provide leadership and support on complex, high-value, or high-profile projects.
- Travel by vehicle and, when necessary, plane to support projects and operations.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, professionalism, customer service, and company standards.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in restoration, reconstruction, construction, property/casualty claims, or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience in restoration or construction.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including complex or high-value losses.
- Strong understanding of insurance claims, restoration processes, estimating, scopes of work, and change orders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, job costs, schedules, and profitability.
- Previous supervisory, management, or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial reconstruction.
- Experience working directly with insurance adjusters, property owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans, scopes, estimates, and project documentation.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently make sound decisions and take ownership of projects.
- IICRC certification such as WRT, ASD, or related certification preferred.
- Experience with restoration estimating software such as Xactimate preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
What Makes This a Senior-Level Role?
We're not looking for someone who simply follows a project plan.
We're looking for someone who can own the project.
The Senior Reconstruction Project Manager will be expected to recognize problems early, make decisions, hold teams and subcontractors accountable, protect project profitability, and serve as a senior point of contact for customers and insurance partners.
This position is ideal for someone who has already managed restoration projects successfully and is ready for greater responsibility, leadership, and influence.
