Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on GCP.
  • Lead cloud transformation and migration projects from assessment through deployment.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams.
  • Drive cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to global teams and clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Professional Google Cloud Architect Certification (required).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Expertise in:
  • Compute Engine
  • GKE & Containers
  • Cloud Networking (VPC, VPN, Load Balancing, DNS)
  • IAM & Security
  • Cloud Storage Services
  • Cloud SQL, Spanner, and Bigtable
  • Monitoring & Logging

DevOps & Automation

  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Ansible and cloud automation.
  • Python and Unix Shell scripting skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker.
  • Experience building and managing Kubernetes-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CKA and/or CKAD certifications.
  • Experience with Anthos and Service Mesh.
  • Knowledge of Splunk and Spark on GKE.
  • ITIL certification or experience working within ITIL-based environments.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven technical leadership capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones.
