Summary
We are looking for an Entry AI QA Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team and support our transition toward AI-driven autonomous testing. In this role, you will assist in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript while learning to leverage modern AI tools to optimize quality assurance workflows. Ideal for recent Systems Engineering graduates or early-career QA engineers, this position provides hands-on mentorship, helping you build a strong foundation in modern test automation, web testing, and AI-assisted quality engineering.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (recently graduated or equivalent).
Professional Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or software engineering (including academic projects, internships, or bootcamp experience)
- Hands-on exposure to writing automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript or similar modern automation tools through projects or practical coursework
- Foundational understanding of core QA methodologies, web architecture, and defect management workflows
- Demonstrated interest or exposure to using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate learning, script writing, and debugging
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, refactoring, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
- Support the engineering team in identifying web components, creating test plans, and converting manual scenarios into automated tests
- Learn to integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows to generate test data, optimize selectors, and debug test failures
- Execute functional, regression, visual, and cross-platform UI tests across Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile environments
- Identify, document, and track software defects clearly in Jira or Azure DevOps, collaborating with developers to verify fixes
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and quality engineering discussions within an Agile team framework
Required Technical Skills
Foundational knowledge or practical project experience in several of the following areas:
- Automation Fundamentals: Basic hands-on experience or project work using Playwright and TypeScript (or JavaScript)
- AI Productivity Tools: Familiarity with leveraging LLMs and AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to write and debug code
- QA Basics: Solid understanding of test planning, test case creation, exploratory testing, and defect reporting
- Web Technologies: Basic understanding of web architecture, DOM structure, HTML/CSS, and browser developer tools
- Version Control: Basic proficiency with Git workflows (branches, commits, pull requests)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to API validation tools (e.g., Postman)
- Basic understanding of visual regression testing concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development processes

- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
- High learning agility, curiosity, and strong enthusiasm for mastering emerging AI technologies in quality engineering
