YOUR ROLE

Support an AI research team at STMicroelectronics SRA on embedded machine learning and robotics projects under direct supervision. Typical activities include:

  • Working on machine learning model optimization and deployment for resource-constrained edge hardware (STM32 microcontrollers/MPUs)
  • Supporting simulation and integration tasks for robotics applications using ROS2 middleware
  • Assisting in building automated tools and pipelines for model training, quantization, validation, and deployment workflows
  • Preparing benchmark results, technical documentation, and supporting paper/publication preparation

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or similar field (enrolled or recently completed)
  • Strong programming skills in Python; working knowledge of C/C++
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and model optimization concepts
  • Experience with Linux development environments and Git
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems or IoT technologies
  • Interest in edge AI, TinyML, robotics, or autonomous systems
  • English business proficiency
