Your Team
We are looking for a Mid-Level Avaloq Technical Business Analyst to join our Credit Team.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation within the Avaloq Core Banking Platform. You will work closely with clients, product owners, software engineers, and other technology stakeholders to analyze requirements, investigate production issues, assess impacts, implement Credit features and translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions.
The ideal candidate combines a good understanding of banking processes with hands-on Avaloq/Oracle technical knowledge, fluent programming and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities within Core Banking systems.
Your key tasks
- Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Contribute hands-on to the implementation of Credit features by developing and reviewing code
- Collaborate with architects and developers to define scalable and secure Credit solutions
- Gather requirements, align on solution design, and drive decision-making across business and technical stakeholders
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, development and testing
Qualifications
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
- Min. 5 years of experience with business analysis or software engineering in the financial industry
- Good programming skills (PL/SQL, SQL,PostgreSQL) or any databases
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning

- ACCP Certification
- Lending & Credit Banking experience
