About the Team
We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are currently expanding our OE Digital team in China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Shanghai.
What you can look forward to as an Engineering Project Manager:
- Apply advanced project management methodologies to ensure successful project execution
- Risk Management: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
- Stakeholder Management: communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations and ensure requirements are met
- Quality Assurance: ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications, conduct regular reviews and testing to maintain high-quality outputs
- Documentation and Reporting: maintain comprehensive project documentation, prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders
- Continuous Improvement: evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implement best practices and lessons learned in future projects
- Among the overall responsibilities, with a specific business focus on diagnostics solutions: Develop and implement efficient processes on diagnostics solution localization in China; Evaluate the effects of industry standards and legislative changes and adapt processes accordingly
Your profile as an Engineering Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s (or above) degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Management or a related field
- 8+ years of experience as an Engineering Project Manager in R&D within the automotive industry
- Experienced in vehicle OTA processes and vehicle development processes
- Experiences in diagnostics is a plus, e.g. Proficient in remote vehicle diagnostic standards such as such as OBD-II, UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services), CAN, LIN, KWP2000, and DoIP
- Experience with diagnostic scan tools, ECU communication software, and vehicle simulation platforms, and familiarity with tools like Vector CANoe, ETAS INCA, or similar
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence
- Skilled in cloud connectivity technologies, familiar with Azure, Ali Cloud, AWS or others
- Strong oral and written English skills and interpersonal skills, PMP certification is an advantage
