Job Summary:
The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) will be responsible for leading hardware and software engineering development from product concept to mass production, reporting to the EVP of Engineering. We are looking for a high-energy EPM to lead the engineering product development cycle, and guide cross-functional engineering teams to meet design and scheduled goals and deadlines.
Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· As a System EPM own and track engineering development schedules, working closely with electrical and mechanical engineer teams to coordinate the release of designs for hardware subsystems.
· Coordinate the UX/ID and SW development to intersect with the product schedule.
· Responsible for: Planning and execution of build events, including material planning and factory readiness.
· Be the primary point of contact with manufacturing to establish a daily build plan; provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives.
· Travel internationally to support development builds.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
· Proven track record of managing complex hardware product schedules and engineering builds down to the small details.
· Strong technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
· 5+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics.
· 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in Ultrasound Medical Devices.
· Proactive and highly self-motivated; demonstrates critical thinking capabilities with strong attention to detail.
· Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm when facing of uncertainty.
· Ability to travel internationally.
· Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes.
· BS degree in EE/CE/ME degree required, MS preferred.
· PMP certification required.
