JOB SUMMARY
The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for the strategic direction, lifecycle management, and commercial success of enterprise software products. This role defines product vision and roadmap, builds business cases, conducts market and competitive analysis, and ensures delivery of solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. While primarily strategic, the Product Manager also contributes to tactical execution in partnership with Product Owners and engineering teams and may directly manage one or more Product Owners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes Other Duties as Required)
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and ROI models for new features and product investments.
- Own product lifecycle management from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform roadmap decisions.
- Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, revenue impact, cost, risk, and strategic alignment.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive stakeholders to align on strategy and delivery priorities.
- Support go-to-market planning, positioning, and messaging to ensure successful launches.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure tactical execution aligns with strategic objectives.
- Represent the product in executive reviews, customer engagements, and industry forums.
Leadership
- Directly manage and mentor one or more Product Owners.
- Provide guidance on backlog prioritization to ensure alignment with product strategy.
- Establish product management best practices, standards, and governance.
- Support career development, performance management, and capability growth of Product Owners.
SCOPE
- Owns one or more enterprise product lines or major solution areas.
- Accountable for product performance, adoption, revenue contribution, and customer satisfaction.
- May have direct management responsibility for Product Owners.
- Influences cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership.
- Balances short-term delivery commitments with long-term strategic growth.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM, SAFe) preferred.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management within enterprise software.
- Demonstrated experience managing full product lifecycle and product strategy.
- Experience developing business cases, financial models, and pricing strategies.
- Proven experience conducting competitive and market analysis.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with Product Owners.
- Prior people management or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customer needs and SaaS delivery models.
WORK HOURS
- Full-Time
- Standard business hours (Monday–Friday), with flexibility for non-standard hours to accommodate global operations and deadlines.
TRAVEL
- Minimal to moderate (up to 15–20%) for regional meetings, team visits, or business needs.
