Job Description

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive the adoption of Intuitive’s diversified portfolio of platform, instruments and digital technologies in India.

This role is built for a product leader who is energized by complexity, grounded in clinical understanding, and passionate about enabling surgeons to deliver better outcomes. You will be at the center of India’s rapidly transforming surgical landscape, shaping how advanced technologies are introduced, adopted, and scaled across the country.

As part of a mission-driven, cross-functional team, you will bring together insights, data, clinical expertise, and business strategy to accelerate the impact of da Vinci technologies in one of our most important growth markets.

 

1. Lead Advanced Technology Product Management

  • Bring breakthrough technologies to market—from regulatory clearance through full commercial launch.
  • Build and execute go-to-market plans in partnership with Global and Asia-Regional teams.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle: pricing, positioning, supply planning, and discontinuation.
  • Translate customer needs into in-market solutions, leveraging insights from surgeons, KOLs, OR teams, reprocessing teams, and payors.
  • Deliver value-driven product messaging through robust, data-backed validation tools.

 

2. Shape Product Performance with Strong Business & Market Analysis

  • Conduct opportunity assessments, demand forecasting, and pricing strategy with Finance.
  • Integrate voice-of-customer insights into the product roadmap.
  • Monitor product adoption, performance, and utilization to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build pricing models that balance customer needs, market conditions, and business outcomes.

 

3. Execute High-Impact Product Launches

  • Collaborate with regional partners to refine positioning, claims, and messaging.
  • Ensure field readiness through coordinated rollout plans.
  • Build and leverage value measurement tools tailored for India.
  • Track post-launch engagement and elevate insights back into the product ecosystem.

 

4. Be the Voice of the Customer & the Clinical Expert

  • Serve as the bridge between product teams, sales, and the clinical environment.
  • Develop deep clinical relevance by:• Observing robotic and laparoscopic procedures
  • Engaging regularly with surgeon champions
  • Leveraging Intuitive’s internal clinical and R&D expertise
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and field studies to inform both near-term priorities and long-term strategy.
  • Contribute to global product roadmap discussions, building business cases and driving cross-functional alignment.

 

5. Quantify the Value (QTI)

  • Build clinical, economic, and operational value stories that articulate the impact of da Vinci technologies.
  • Validate evidence with epicenters, reference sites, KOLs, and proctors.
  • Analyze competitive dynamics and translate findings into strategic recommendations.

 

6. Engage Surgical Societies & Clinical Ecosystem Partners

  • Strengthen Intuitive’s presence in national clinical societies and academic platforms.
  • Enable society-led robotic education, evidence generation, and guideline influence.
  • Establish strategic relationships with society leaders, elevating Intuitive as a trusted partner in shaping the future of surgical care.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in product marketing/management or technical sales within medical devices.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across sales, clinical, regulatory, and regional teams.
  • Proven leadership of multi-stakeholder initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong wing-to-wing experience with launching complex medical device products in India – leadership experience across all aspects of launch planning and execution
  • Deep, hands-on data analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to develop market and product insights, inform decision-making and tailor product messaging
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with experience engaging senior clinicians.
  • High learning agility, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias for action.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office; experience with Tableau and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Familiar with qualitative and quantitative market research methods. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
  • Experience in high-growth, innovation-driven organizations.
  • Ability to navigate unique, complex challenges requiring independent judgment and strategic thinking.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related discipline (required).
  • MBA or advanced degree from a Tier-1 institution preferred

Working Style

  • Comfortable working in operating rooms and clinical/surgical environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including international travel.
  • Position based at Intuitive India Headquarters – Bengaluru.
