About This Role
RGP is working with a leading technology company seeking a Senior Workforce Analytics & Data Engineer to help build and scale their People Analytics function.
This role sits at the intersection of HR, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence, partnering closely with HR, HRIS, IT, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other business leaders to deliver workforce insights that drive strategic decisions.
3-6 months project.
What You Will Work On
Scope of Work:
- Lead workforce analytics initiatives across headcount, attrition, retention, recruiting, compensation, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Design and build executive dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions using Power BI and Workday.
- Create and maintain scalable workforce data models, datasets, and reporting structures.
- Integrate and transform data from Workday and other enterprise systems using Workday Prism Analytics and/or Workday Data Cloud.
- Partner with HRIS, IT, and enterprise data teams on data pipelines, system integrations, governance, and source-of-truth strategies.
- Analyze workforce trends and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Improve data quality, metric consistency, and reporting accuracy across HR and business functions.
- Drive reporting automation and help advance the organization's capabilities in predictive analytics, workforce intelligence, and AI-enabled decision making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders by connecting workforce data to business outcomes and strategic priorities.
What You Will Bring
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, HR Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.
- Strong Workday HCM reporting experience, including dashboards, reports, calculated fields, and workforce data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics and/or Workday Data Cloud.
- Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, semantic models, and dashboard development.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building data models, integrations, datasets, and reporting solutions.
- Deep understanding of workforce metrics and HR data across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience partnering with both technical and business stakeholders to solve complex data and reporting challenges.
Preferred:
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Python, R, predictive analytics, machine learning, or workforce forecasting experience.

Pay Rate Range:
- $95-110hr.
