About the role
As a Data Analyst in our Xource team, you will help turn raw software data into accurate, recognizable applications that power the Xensam platform.
You will identify and research software data collected from customer environments and enrich it with the right metadata. This includes understanding applications and determining information such as software manufacturer, license type, product family, category, and other relevant details.
The role combines independent analytical work with quality control, customer support, and different projects within the team. You will learn our products and internal tools in depth while gradually taking greater ownership of customer data and software normalization.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and getting the details right.
Responsibilities
- Analyze raw software data and normalize it into recognizable applications
- Research software and enrich applications with accurate metadata
- Maintain high data quality through reviews and improvement projects
- Work with customer data and provide technical support to customers and end users
- Learn and work across different areas of software normalization, including groups, suites, license suites, and operating system types
- Contribute to the continued development of our internal tools and normalization database
Qualifications
- Education in IT and/or a few years of professional experience within IT
- Solid experience working with Windows
- Good understanding of how software applications are installed and executed
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, thorough approach to your work
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative and solving problems independently
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Able to learn new tools, systems, and technical concepts quickly
- Comfortable working with customers and explaining technical information in a clear, user-friendly way
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
