Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing projects within a GMP-regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing or supporting engineering design, construction, capital projects, manufacturing, and facility-related projects for pharmaceutical plants. Candidates with a strong Project Engineering background are also encouraged to apply.

Experience with Cost Control, Budget Management, and Accounting/Project Financials is highly preferred.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and support pharmaceutical engineering, construction, manufacturing, and capital projects.
  • Coordinate activities between Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Operations.
  • Support projects from engineering design through construction, installation, and completion.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and action items.
  • Support project cost control, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineering firms, and site personnel.
  • Ensure projects comply with GMP, safety, quality, and company requirements.
  • Provide project updates and communicate status to internal stakeholders.

General Requirements

  • Experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP-regulated facilities.
  • Experience with engineering design and construction of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities strongly preferred.
  • Background in Project Management, Project Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Cost Control, Budget, and/or Project Accounting preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related technical field preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, Engineering, Construction, or capital projects.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CAPEX, engineering design, construction, facilities, equipment installation, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Cost Control, Budget Management, or Accounting is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site in pharmaceutical manufacturing and construction environments.
  • Ability to walk production/construction areas and wear required PPE.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project enviroments
