Job Requirements Role/ Job Title: Product Manager – Business Loan
Function/ Department: Business Loan - Product & Program
Job Purpose: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Product Manager – Business Loan to drive credit policy, process governance, and product enhancement initiatives across the Business Loan portfolio. The role will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing credit policies, underwriting frameworks, and operational processes to enable scalable business growth while maintaining portfolio quality and risk controls. The incumbent will work closely with Credit, Risk, Business teams to identify process bottlenecks, improve customer experience, reduce TAT, and implement best-in-class market practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and enhance Business Loan credit policies, eligibility frameworks, underwriting guidelines, and program structures in line with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Evaluate industry trends, competitor offerings, regulatory developments, and market practices to recommend policy enhancements and product improvements.
- Drive introduction of new programs, surrogate models, and policy initiatives to improve portfolio growth, profitability, and customer acquisition.
- Lead periodic POD review calls to identify process gaps, facilitate issue resolution across stakeholders, and improve end-to-end TAT performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions and refresher programs for Business, Credit, and Operations teams on policy updates, product enhancements, and process changes.
Education Qualification:
- Graduation: Any graduate
- Post-graduation: Any postgraduate (MBA/PGDM preferred)
Experience:
· 2+ years of experience in Credit Policy, Underwriting, Risk Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Business Lending.
· Experience in Business Loans, SME/MSME Lending, Secured Business Loans, Machinery Finance, Working Capital, LAP, or Commercial Lending preferred.
· Strong understanding of credit assessment, underwriting frameworks, lending processes preferred.
