Position Title: Data Scientist (Active Secret Clearance Required)

Requirements

  • Possess Active SECRET level Security Clearance.

Position Summary: The Data Scientist uses complex, large-scale data analysis to find business trends and problems in passport operations, then designs and builds the data models, databases and dashboards that address them.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business trends and operational problems through complex big-data analysis
  • Interpret results from multiple data sources, using methods that range from data aggregation and statistical analysis to complex data mining
  • Design, develop and implement high-value analytical solutions
  • Prepare data, implement data models and develop the databases that support those solutions
  • Build dashboards and present findings and recommendations to government stakeholders

 

Required Qualifications:

  • S. citizenship.
  • Maintain an Active SECRET clearance.
  • Minimum 3 years of data science or advanced analytics experience
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of equivalent experience.
