Full description

MPLC provides a legal way to show movies and TV in public or commercial spaces across the globe. Our business has been running for over 30 years, and we are the number one trusted partner to studios and producers for public performance licensing. We work with every major Hollywood studio and hundreds of independents, and we are a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem.     We are on a truly exciting journey as a company. We're growing quickly, investing in our teams, and have bold plans for the future. To support that growth, we're looking for a Principal GTM Data Operations Engineer to join our Data team.

The Role in Three Bullets

  • Own the quality standard and roadmap for our US and UK go-to-market data pipeline, targeting 90% first-pass sales acceptance.
  • Lead a small technical team as a player-coach: set the standards and stay hands-on.
  • Evolve the platform from a batch pipeline into a signal-driven system that routes the right accounts to the right sales pod at the right time.

We are hiring a senior technical leader to own and scale MPLC's go-to-market data platform: an AI-driven pipeline that sources, enriches, qualifies and de-duplicates accounts, then delivers them rep-ready into Salesforce and our sales engagement platform. Success is measured on data quality, sales acceptance rates and the pipeline your team creates.

Why you'll love this role

  • Clay expertise: enrichment tables, waterfall logic and AI agents in production, with credit spend under control.
  • Python: build,  maintain and debug scraping and data pipeline scripts without a developer on call.
  • Quality standards: you have defined "sales-ready" and built the QA process and SOPs to enforce it.
  • Salesforce fluency: field mapping, deduplication logic and CRM hygiene.
  • Systems thinking: connect scrapers, enrichment, governance tools, Salesforce and AI agents through      APIs, webhooks and MCP, and document it for clean handover.
  • AI-first: you have shipped AI agents in a production GTM pipeline and measured the results.
  • Leadership: you have led or mentored at least one technical peer, and work well with IT,  Salesforce admins and engineers on security and data access.

Experience we are looking for

  • 8+ years in GTM engineering, revenue operations engineering or B2B data engineering, with      direct go-to-market impact.
  • Experience with a deduplication or governance platform (Openprise, RingLead or similar).
  • A strong plus: building net-new account detection pipelines using company registry data, ZoomInfo,      Dun & Bradstreet or similar.

This is a player-coach role: you will lead an international team and stay hands-on with the systems, not just manage from a distance. You will be held to clear numbers (data quality, sales acceptance rates and the pipeline your team creates), and you will also be rebuilding a batch pipeline into a signal-driven platform while it runs. If you want a purely strategic or purely hands-on role, this is not it.

  • Salary between £65,000 and £75,000 per year depending on experience
  • Remote role with occasional travel
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Private health insurance with optical and dental cover and an online GP service
  • Life insurance
