Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and sustain robust server-side applications. This pivotal role focuses on creating high-performance, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework. The ideal candidate will drive architectural decisions, ensure data integrity through advanced database interactions, and implement secure, event-driven systems. By leveraging modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, this position is essential for delivering reliable, efficient, and secure software solutions that meet evolving business demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and sustain backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot technologies.
  • Engineer scalable RESTful APIs and microservice architectures to support business growth.
  • Manage data persistence and retrieval by leveraging Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and relational database systems.
  • Facilitate seamless connectivity with external third-party APIs and integrated services.
  • Construct event-driven processing pipelines using Apache Kafka and enhance system speed with Redis caching strategies.
  • Enforce rigorous security protocols through Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth2 standards.
  • Produce comprehensive unit and integration tests while actively engaging in peer code reviews.
