Reports to: Director of IT FLSA Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt) Hours: 40 hours (Full-Time) Campus: Melbourne

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the health, integrity, and optimization of the organization’s data systems, with a primary focus on Ministry Platform. This role serves as a vital link between technical data management and ministry execution, ensuring that staff and leadership have the accurate information necessary to foster community and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain rigorous standards of data integrity through regular auditing, cleanup, and deduplication within Ministry Platform.
- Manage the user lifecycle by creating new user accounts, assigning appropriate security roles, and providing timely support for unlocking accounts.
- Create and manage database views and events to streamline organizational workflows and ensure data is accessible.
- Oversee website integration with Ministry Platform to ensure seamless data flow between public-facing platforms and the core database.
- Partner with various ministries (including CCA) to identify their unique data needs and help them leverage Ministry Platform to achieve their goals.
- Assist ministries with complex reporting requirements, gathering and analyzing data to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Create and manage groups within the system to support campus activities, small groups, and community engagement.
- Lead the training of new hires on the basics of Ministry Platform, ensuring they are equipped to use the system effectively from their first day.
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to resolve technical hurdles and improve system usability for all staff and volunteers.
Job Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience managing databases, specifically with Ministry Platform or similar CRM/ERP systems.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience in database administration, specifically SQL.
- A creative problem solver who balances technical expertise with a heart for serving the ministry.
A natural ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and find creative, efficient solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical data concepts into understandable terms for ministry leaders.
