Full description
Chamberlain Group (CG) is a global leader in intelligent access and Blackstone portfolio company. Powered by our myQ technology, we make access simple and secure for millions of homeowners, businesses, and communities worldwide. Our flagship brands, LiftMaster® and Chamberlain® , are found in 51+ million homes, and 14 million+ people rely on the myQ® app daily.
Chamberlain Group is best known for creating hardware and software to make access at homes and businesses simple and secure, and we're building something new: myQ Enterprise, a SaaS platform that brings scheduling, gate, dock, and yard management to warehouses and distribution centers. It's an emerging software business backed by an industrial giant — the resources of an established leader with the speed, ambiguity, and fun of a startup.
We're looking for senior manager to head up our product, lead a team of software product managers and help define what myQ Enterprise becomes next. This role sits at the center of the business — partnering with engineering to ship, with sales to close, and with customers to prove the product works in the real world. You'll own the roadmap for a product portfolio that lives at the intersection of enterprise SaaS, IoT/hardware, and the logistics operations our customers can't run without.
This is a builder's role. You'll be a key member of the leadership team growing a new software services business inside Chamberlain Group — which means the playbook isn't fully written yet, and you'll help write it.
What You'll Do
Lead the Product & the Product Team
- Manage, coach, and grow a team of software product managers, setting clear priorities and holding a high bar for product craft.
- Own and communicate product strategy and roadmap for the myQ Enterprise portfolio, balancing fast-paced new feature delivery with the needs of a growing installed base.
- Define and track the metrics that matter — revenue, adoption, retention, and delivery — and translate them into clear priorities for the team.
- Partner with engineering leaders in a Matrix/Agile environment, facilitating or overseeing scrum activities and keeping delivery on clearly defined timelines.
Be the Voice of the Product — Inside and Out
- Evangelize the product internally and externally: turn product strategy into a story that customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders can get behind.
- Participate directly in the sales process as the foremost product expert — running demos, answering hard technical questions, and building the customer confidence that helps get deals across the line.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success leaders on go-to-market strategy, positioning, and pricing for targeted customer segments.
- Represent Chamberlain Group and myQ Enterprise with customers, analysts, industry conferences, and partners.
Build for Scale
- Design product strategy that spans both hardware and software to deliver a genuinely compelling connected experience for warehouse and DC operators.
- Bring API integrations and platform thinking to the roadmap, ensuring myQ Enterprise plays well within customers' broader logistics and operations tech stacks (TMS, ERP, WMS, and beyond).
- Contribute to end-to-end operational plans that drive profitability and help the business scale.
What You Bring — Must-Haves
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Marketing, and/or Product Management, including direct experience managing a team of software product managers.
- Proven track record in SaaS product management, including products built around API integrations and platform extensibility.
- Domain experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation management systems (TMS), and/or ERP systems — you understand how warehouse and DC operations actually run.
- Comfort operating in a Matrix and Agile software development environment, with hands-on experience in Scrum or similar methodologies.
- A self-starter mentality — genuinely energized by the ambiguity of an emerging, startup-like business inside a larger organization, not just tolerant of it.
- Comfortable and credible in front of highly technical development teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally.
What Sets You Apart — Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with IoT, connected hardware, video, and/or AI-driven product features.
- MBA or equivalent advanced business experience.
