About Bidbus
Bidbus is building the future of how consumers sell cars.
Our real-time marketplace enables licensed dealerships to compete for vehicles directly from individual sellers, creating a faster, more transparent and more efficient automotive marketplace.
We recently raised a $15M Series A backed by leading Silicon Valley investors. Over the past year, our business grew 7x through California operations alone, reaching approximately $300M in annualized GMV, and we are now accelerating expansion across multiple U.S. markets.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Marketplace Growth & Liquidity.
You will own the products and marketplace systems that increase dealer participation, improve supply-and-demand matching and drive transaction density across Bidbus.
This is not a traditional feature-delivery role. You will be expected to improve the current marketplace while also identifying and launching bold, high-impact product bets that can fundamentally change how dealers discover, evaluate and purchase inventory.
You will work directly with the founders and help build the marketplace operating system that enables Bidbus to scale nationally.
What You’ll Own
- Own the marketplace growth and liquidity strategy, roadmap and core KPIs.
- Increase dealer onboarding, activation, engagement, retention and purchase frequency.
- Help dealers progress from registration to first purchase, repeat purchase and high-volume participation.
- Improve bids per vehicle, sell-through rate, auction participation and transaction density.
- Build products that improve vehicle-to-dealer matching, ranking, recommendations and notifications.
- Identify and solve supply-and-demand imbalances across markets, vehicle categories and dealer segments.
- Improve dealer discovery, evaluation and bidding workflows.
- Reduce marketplace dependency on a small number of large buyers.
- Build scalable liquidity systems and playbooks that can be repeated across new markets.
- Partner closely with Dealer Operations, Design, Engineering and Market Expansion teams.
- Use marketplace data, cohort analysis and experimentation to improve buyer behavior and marketplace health.
- Lead breakthrough “big bet” initiatives—not just incremental marketplace optimization—that can unlock new levels of liquidity, participation and transaction volume.
- Define the long-term product vision and success metrics for Marketplace Growth & Liquidity.
