Forward Deployed Engineer — Salesforce Agentforce

Locations: Bellevue, WA or Frisco, TX (Onsite 5 Days)

Position Summary

As a Forward Deployed Engineer — Salesforce Agentforce, you will partner directly with customers, business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering organizations to turn high-value AI opportunities into production-ready solutions. You will design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agentic workflows, and Salesforce AI capabilities to solve complex enterprise challenges.

This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technical delivery, and AI-powered transformation. You will help integrate intelligent automation into enterprise workflows, accelerate adoption, and deliver measurable outcomes for clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered agents using Salesforce Agentforce to address business, customer experience, and operational challenges.
  • Partner with customers, business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to identify, scope, and deliver high-impact AI solutions.
  • Build and optimize RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, prompt strategies, and multi-agent orchestration solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Develop integrations between Salesforce, enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce platform components, including Agentforce, Data Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Einstein AI capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions in partnership with solution architects and product teams.
  • Lead or support solution workshops, demonstrations, discovery sessions, and technical discussions with business and customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI agent performance, reliability, security, usability, and adoption.
  • Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, governance, version control, and deployment automation practices for Salesforce and AI implementations.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, deployment guides, knowledge assets, and implementation playbooks.
  • Work in agile delivery environments to move quickly from opportunity identification to production deployment.
  • Serve as a trusted technical partner who bridges customer needs, enterprise processes, and AI-enabled implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including configuration, customization, integration, and development.
  • Required hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Agentforce.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Einstein AI.
  • Experience designing and deploying AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience building AI solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications through REST APIs, GraphQL, middleware, Salesforce APIs, and cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, and Salesforce platform development.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control, deployment automation, and release management.
  • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and solution delivery skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and participating in end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to balance speed, quality, scalability, security, and measurable business impact in production AI solutions.

The base salary for this position is $92,250 – $140,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
