Specific Responsibilities Would Include:

Overall Responsibilities

Through various inspection activities to ensure the consistent production quality, enough order quantity and on time delivery.

  • Follow the SOP (standard operation procedure) to perform the timely inspections
  • Risk assessment of products with during PPM and line review with factory representative(s).
  • Follow up production status and T&A (WIP) on a regular basis.
  • Monitor factory’s production plan to fix the inspection schedule.
  • Collaboration and timely communication with all related parties on any quality issue and work out the solution with factory as well as following up action.
  • Issue the inspection report timely as well as the quality issue escalation
  • Follow up the CAP implementation and the outcome.
  • Provide regular training to vendor/factory people and make sure their understanding on customer’s requirements, quality standard as well as their quality consciousness enhancement.
  • Continuously drives the factory to improve the quality of the product to achieve the requirement.
  • Update the new requirement to the factory whenever necessary and case study sharing.
  • Monitor factory’s daily operation includes compliance issues.
  • Monitor the running of factory’s internal quality control system, including sharp tool control and needle detection process.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Additional Requirements

  • 5 years+ of experience in inspecting soft textile goods (e.g., caps, hats, scarves, gloves, shoes).
  • 3+ years of garment inspection experience (woven and knit garments) with knowledge of sewing techniques to provide guidance to factories.
  • Candidates with experience in shoe quality inspection will be given additional points and prioritized.
  • Holds a diploma or above in a relevant field required.
  • Strong written English skills for document comprehension and report writing.
  • Ability to write reports and emails in English.
  • Proficient in understanding English technical documents.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
