Job Summary:

We are seeking an early-career Associate Project Manager to support the introduction of cable solutions into Super Micro’s server and storage systems. This role works with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to qualify products, track development builds, and help resolve technical and customer issues. The successful candidate can explain cable technology and product positioning to both technical and business audiences and is eager to learn Super Micro’s systems and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in cross-functional teams with Engineering, Commodity Management, Supply Chain, and Quality
  • Partner with design engineering and operations to identify, document, and help mitigate program risks
  • Support planning and execution of engineering development builds through production ramp
  • Review vendor specifications, assist with product qualification plans, and enter data accurately into company systems
  • Support Sales, Engineering, and Procurement on customer-related cable issues.
  • Coordinate with system teams on cable requirements and solution options
  • Track open issues and follow through with internal and supplier teams until resolution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • 0–2 years of experience; familiarity with cable solutions for server or storage products is preferred
  • Project or program coordination experience is a plus
  • Ability to build constructive working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills across functions
  • Working knowledge of high-speed cables, power-safety requirements, and RoHS (or willingness to learn quickly)

Salary Range

$75,000 - $100,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
