In our design-forward setting, designers, builders, and horticulture teams working side by side to take ideas from start to finish.

Our mission is to create intentional, timeless outdoor spaces that reflect our clients’ values and connect people with the places where they live and spend time. In this role, you’ll help bring that mission to life through thoughtful, closely connected work, with the satisfaction of knowing the spaces to which you contribute become places people spend time in, return to, and enjoy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Construction Project Manager, you oversee a range of high-end residential, commercial, and institutional projects from pre-construction through project closeout. Our work includes rooftop terraces, brownstone backyards, boutique hotels, and custom outdoor environments featuring specialty fabrication, architectural metalwork, custom woodwork, pergolas, planters, site furnishings, water features, and other one-of-a-kind built elements. You are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Brook Landscape's quality standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage assigned projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and proactively manage project schedules, identifying risks, delays, and recovery plans as needed.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, including site surveys, logistics, permitting, inspections, and installation readiness.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and specialty fabrication details to ensure constructability and successful execution.
  • Coordinate the fabrication, procurement, and installation of custom-built landscape elements, working closely with fabricators, vendors, and installation teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, installation crews, fabrication partners, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage client communication throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, specialty fabricators, and vendors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to Brook Landscape's quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and adherence to design intent, proactively resolving field challenges.
  • Monitor project budgets, purchasing, subcontractor costs, and approved change orders, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, field reports, meeting notes, shop drawings, fabrication submittals, and project correspondence.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, client handoff, and warranty coordination.
  • Support continuous improvement of construction processes, systems, and project delivery standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Positive, hands-on attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever needed to support the team and the success of the company. Lead from the front.
  • The ability to stay calm, decisive, and resourceful under pressure
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients, ownership, vendors, subcontractors, and crew
  • Strong organization skills to manage simultaneous projects, timelines, budgets, and priorities
  • A deep commitment to craftsmanship, quality, safety, and delivering an exceptional client experience
  • A collaborative style of leadership that will help your crew members develop
  • A forward-thinking, entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in supporting business growth, improving operations, and identifying additional project opportunities
  • Experience in an evolving, fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential
