Senior Cloud Solution Architect

The Customer Success Unit (CSU) in Singapore is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to lead customer AI and application transformation. You will drive adoption of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, agentic AI, GitHub (Copilot, Enterprise, Advanced Security) and cloud native app platforms (AKS, Azure Container Apps, App Service, API Management), turning Microsoft investments into measurable business outcomes. Beyond technical depth, you will raise the bar for the team by modeling and driving a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous learning.

Responsibilities Customer Success and AI Transformation

• Be the trusted technical advisor to senior customer and partner leaders on AI and app modernization strategy.
• Lead AI transformation programs from use case selection, technical strategy discussions and architecture through production, scale and value realization.
• Drive GitHub and developer productivity adoption (GitHub Copilot, GitHub Enterprise, Advanced Security, DevOps and platform engineering) and measure the impact.
• Remove technical blockers to deployment, adoption and consumption; own customer success and drive Azure consumption outcomes on assigned accounts.

Architecture and Technical Leadership

• Design and validate enterprise scale architectures for generative and agentic AI, cloud native apps and secure DevOps.
• Lead architecture reviews, proofs of concept, pilots and production readiness, applying Responsible AI, security, reliability and cost best practices.
• Build reusable assets, reference architectures and accelerators; share customer insights with Engineering to shape product roadmaps.

High Performance Culture and Team Leadership

• Set the standard for excellence: model ownership, urgency and customer obsession, and hold self and peers to high outcome bars.
• Mentor and coach CSAs, lead virtual teams, and scale expertise through enablement, communities and knowledge sharing.
• Lead and partner with cross functional teams (CSAMs, Specialists, Solution Engineers, Account executives, Engineering, Partners) to deliver joint outcomes.
• Represent Microsoft in executive briefings, industry events and technical communities.

Continuous Learning

• Stay current in AI, GitHub and app platforms through hands on work and certifications; embody a growth mindset and Microsoft culture and values.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or related field AND 10+ years in cloud or infrastructure, software development, architecture, technology solutions or consulting, OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field AND 10+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in customer facing roles and leading technical projects.
• Proven track record leading enterprise AI transformations (generative AI, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, agentic solutions) from strategy to production.
• Deep hands on GitHub and developer experience: GitHub Copilot, GitHub Enterprise, Actions, Advanced Security, DevOps and platform engineering, with a strong software development background.
• Expertise in cloud native app platforms: AKS, Container Apps, App Service, API Management, integration and microservices.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving a high performance culture: mentoring, setting standards and leading virtual teams.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, DevOps Engineer Expert or GitHub certifications.
