Senior Data Scientist

Department: 61-416 - Technology - Hyderabad

Description

About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, AI/ML and at least one specialization such as GenAI/LLMs, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendation Systems or Forecasting. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Data Science/ML solutions from problem definition to production. 
  • Develop, optimize and deploy production-grade ML/AI models. 
  • Apply advanced Python, SQL, statistics, ML and deep-learning techniques. 
  • Work on GenAI/LLM, RAG, NLP, recommendation or other AI use cases as relevant. 
  • Build scalable ML pipelines and contribute to system/solution architecture. 
  • Work with cloud and MLOps for deployment, monitoring and model lifecycle management. 
  • Perform experimentation, model evaluation, error analysis and continuous improvement. 
  • Partner with engineering/product teams to deliver measurable business impact. 
  • Mentor junior/mid-level Data Scientists and contribute to technical best practices. 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 5+ years in Data Science / ML / AI. 
  • Advanced Python & SQL. 
  • Strong ML/statistics fundamentals with deep implementation experience. 
  • Expertise in at least one AI/ML specialty. 
  • Production ML experience. 
  • Strong cloud/MLOps understanding. 
  • Good system-design exposure. 
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills. 

Preferred 

  • PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, CI/CD, RAG, LLMs, vector databases and LLM evaluation. 

What We Expect 

A senior practitioner who can design, build, productionize and own ML/AI.
