Role Summary/Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to support the Kinetix platform by driving automation, cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and reliable application delivery. This role will work closely with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud and on-premises environments, support production operations, and improve deployment efficiency.

The DevOps Engineer will help maintain and enhance enterprise applications while contributing to cloud migration initiatives, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence across the Kinetix ecosystem.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Support application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server-based infrastructure.
• Partner with development teams to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Support cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Assist with application and infrastructure migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based applications and services.
• Support release management activities, including manual and automated deployments.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health and resolve operational issues.
• Assist in maintaining data center infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and support teams to improve system reliability and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or related roles.
• Experience building and supporting GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of .NET and C/C++ application environments.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
• Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud migration and modernization programs.
• AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, DevOps practices, and software delivery pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and hybrid data center environments.
• Experience with release management and production support processes.
• Familiarity with application remoting and remote system management technologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and Kubernetes platforms.
• Ability to diagnose issues across application, infrastructure, networking, and deployment layers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Applies values, business strategy, policies, precedents, and experience to make effective decisions.
• Challenges conventional thinking and identifies opportunities for operational improvement.
