Associate Technical lead, DevOps

About the Role 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage the operational foundation of CaliberMind, Integrate's B2B marketing analytics and revenue-attribution platform: the infrastructure as code, the deployment pipelines, the production access model, the local development experience, and the cloud spend. CaliberMind runs on Google Cloud — GKE, BigQuery, and Dataproc — across roughly 50 services, and your job is to make operating it repeatable. You will report to the Head of Dev & SecOps and work alongside both the CaliberMind engineering team and Integrate's platform group, partnering with IT on authentication and access for corporate systems. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage infrastructure as code for a Google Cloud estate — plan-on-pull-request, policy checks, consistent provider versions, and reconciled state — moving applies out of local environments and into automation. 

• Migrate deployment pipelines from Google Cloud Build to GitHub Actions, and build the quality and security gates that make a green build meaningful: automated tests, linting, dependency scanning, and container image scanning. 

• Establish immutable artifact promotion, deployment approvals, and reliable rollback across environments. 

• Manage the access model for production systems, including cloud IAM and service accounts, Kubernetes RBAC, database and warehouse access, and the platform's roles, entitlements, and single sign-on; coordinate with IT on authentication for corporate systems. 

• Establish a dependency and platform upgrade cadence across a multi-language estate (Node/TypeScript, Python, and Scala/Spark), including automated dependency updates and managed database migrations. 

• Partner with engineering and finance on cloud cost management, including committed-use discounts, data warehouse capacity planning, and project sprawl. 

• Extend the Docker Compose local development environment so that it includes its own databases, seed data, and production-parity dependencies, enabling engineers to be productive on their first day. 

• Improve observability and monitoring, contribute to on-call practice as the team grows, and support the SOC 2 program from the engineering side. 

• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational processes so that operational knowledge is shared across the team.

Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, directly managing production systems 

• Hands-on experience with Terraform in a team setting, including modules, remote state, and disciplined plan and apply workflows managed through an automation platform (Terrakube, Terraform Cloud/Enterprise, Spacelift, or similar) 

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm, including deploying, debugging, and upgrading production workloads 

• Experience with a major cloud provider; Google Cloud preferred, though strong AWS or Azure experience is transferable 

• Demonstrated experience authoring CI/CD pipelines; GitHub Actions preferred, with Cloud Build, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins also applicable 

• Proficiency with Docker and Docker Compose, including multi-service local development environments 

• Comfort working in a Linux shell and in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or TypeScript 

• Experience with AI-assisted development, including working with coding agents and integrating AI code review or agent-driven automation into CI pipelines, preferred 

• Familiarity with secrets management such as Secret Manager, Vault, SOPS, or KMS-encrypted configuration, preferred 

• Experience with identity platforms such as Auth0, SAML SSO, or OAuth 2.0/OIDC, preferred 

• Exposure to BigQuery, Dataproc, or other data platform infrastructure, preferred 

• Experience with cloud cost optimization, including committed-use discounts, reservations, and rightsizing, preferred 

• Familiarity with SOC 2 or a compliance program such as Vanta or Drata, preferred 

• Strong written communication and a habit of documenting what you build 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
