Job Details
The role will independently work with cross-functional teams to lead multiple projects simultaneously, from ID concept to mass production, within fast-paced product development cycles to deliver great products to market.
Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate new product concepts
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of material, components, and the manufacturing process
- 3D modeling, engineering drawing drafting, and tolerance analysis
- Troubleshooting of design, tooling, and production issues
- Perform tests and conduct engineering analysis
- Competitive product analysis (Component / Material / Process / Mechanism / BOM Cost)
- Explore and analyze new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes
Basic Qualifications
- Expressed interest in mechanical engineering in the networking industry
- Demonstrated aptitude for creative, “out of the box” thinking
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new things
- Understanding of basic mechanics, material science, tooling, and manufacturing.
- Good root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Great communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional team members and suppliers
- Fluency in English
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Great ability to solve problems with statistical tools.
- Experience in the mass production of plastic or sheet metal parts.
- Experience in industrial and consumer power product design.
- Experience with AI-related devices.
- Familiarity with Safety Standards, including UL and IEC.
