Based in Grenoble, France

Within our ICAPS Europe South Account, we are opening a Process Support Engineer position to support our DDP products (Dielectric Deposition Products) – This position will be focused on our customers in the Grenoble area.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • You manage customer engagement: early collaboration with R&D team to position and evaluate our new products.
  • You will be responsible of the process qualification of equipment after installation, optimization of their performances and cost of ownership.
  • You understand customer technology evolution and align with Applied Materials Product Groups on technical solution development.
  • You interact closely with Sales to propose and implement technical solutions to customer.
  • You will support Service Teams in troubleshooting of process deviation, and by providing guidance and training on process qualifications.
  • You follow policies to protect customer and company Intelligence Property.
  • You adhere to the security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.

Preferred profile:

  • Experience of semiconductor industry on advance production equipment
  • Knowledge of semiconductor integration.
  • Master or PhD in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field with professional experience, ideally including customer interaction.
  • Fluent in English.
  • You build and maintain customer satisfaction through clear, consistent communication and responsiveness.
  • You work within a team in a culturally diverse organization.
  • You are willing to travel to other customer sites or Business Unit (~25% of the time, depending on business needs).

  • Base salary over 13 months
  • Company car or car allowance of 650€/month
  • Performance bonus targeted at 10% of the base salary

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
