WHO WE ARE
Ovoko is transforming Europe’s €30B+ used car parts market - a massive, fragmented industry still largely offline. We connect 7,000+ scrapyard owners, car parts sellers and dismantlers with millions of buyers through our marketplace, SaaS and logistics platform, making it effortless to trade parts across borders. With over 42 million parts listed, we’ve grown into one of Europe’s fastest-scaling e-commerce companies, but the real opportunity lies ahead, as we build a real category-defining platform worldwide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Product Designer on the Orders Team at Ovoko, you will play a pivotal role in defining, creating, and improving the fulfilment experience that enables sellers to dispatch orders reliably and keeps customers informed about what's happening with their order. We are looking for a person who fully owns their design outcomes and can navigate complexity.
You will face an opportunity-rich environment, need to solve complex and multifaceted problems, and make constant design trade-offs. New opportunities will often come from repeat interactions with Customers, Product Managers, Engineers, Data, Leadership, and other teams. You’ll work daily with a Product Manager, an Engineering Manager, and a stellar team of Engineers to deliver value to your users and the business.
\n
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Own the fulfilment experience: Design flows across web and mobile that help sellers locate, pick, pack, and dispatch parts efficiently, and keep customers informed about their order status.
- Drive discovery: Work with sellers, Product Managers, and Engineers to understand fulfilment patterns, analyze operational data, and identify friction in the order journey.
- Evaluate user journeys: Assess whether fulfilment flows genuinely work for sellers day-to-day, judging independently where the journey breaks down and where it can be made simpler.
- Translate insights into interfaces: Turn data and research into clear, efficient flows and interfaces - prioritizing usability and efficiency.
- Execute: Work hands-on with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly features on time, balancing technical constraints with user needs and cross-platform design guidelines.
- Measure impact: Track on-time dispatch rate, damaged parcel rate, support contact rate, and other key metrics to validate designs and drive improvement.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role designing for B2B SaaS, ERP, Marketplaces, or mobile apps.
- Strong user research skills, empathy, and willingness to get your hands dirty working with real users to better understand the challenges and flows that they are going through every day.
- Structured problem solver who can break down messy problems into clear, elegant, and actionable user flows.
- Deep understanding of interaction design, visual design, and evaluative user research.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change through iterative design.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using both qualitative insights and operational metrics to guide design decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to align teams around common design goals and articulate your design rationale.
